Searching files using Catfish on Ubuntu


If you like searching files using graphical mode on ubuntu, you might having difficulties using ubuntu built-in searching tool, it is slow and doesn't give you much choice for searching files. Introducing 'catfish', a versatile file searching tool available for free on ubuntu.

You can install catfish on ubuntu with this command:
sudo apt-get install catfish
Once installed you can type 'catfish' on ubuntu dash and run the program, with catfish you can search on different places inside your computer and you can search hidden files, use exact match and even search the content inside the file.
